Say hello to Cappy. Cappy was found wondering in the middle of a busy road. He was covered with fleas, malnourished, and terrified. He is now a year old and full of love and playfulness. Cappy is medium-large, young male, and we think a great mix of blood hound and retriever. He has some charming blood hound wrinkles and folds and color, with smaller retriever body. Recycled calls these "Designer Dogs", designed by the creativity of God and sent to you for lifetime companions. He is crate trained, social with other dogs, kids and people. He will go on long walks, sleep in with you, watch sports or sad movies on TV, and let you scratch his tummy. This guy is the sweetest, goofiest dog! He is very much still a puppy, and loves to play. He will win your heart in a second! He is very unique looking dog, and has an adorable personality as well. He does very well with other dogs. His wrinkles will make you smile, and clumsy antics entertain for hours! Cappy is up to date on shots, wormed, on heartworm preventative, microchipped and altered.

Our Spanky is a Bichon Frise Chihuahua mix. Doesn't look like either, but he is ALL heart. He is three years old and was an owner turnover, they could even afford food for the dog. He is great with other dogs, social with people. The Bichon Frise is a small, sturdy, white powder puff of a dog whose merry temperament is evidenced by his plumed tail carried jauntily over the back and his dark-eyed inquisitive expression. Mix that with Chihuahua (curious, intelligent, and loyal) and you have your perfect designer dog in Spanky. He is the best of both breeds, loving, and would so love to wake up sleeping next to you. Crate trained, he has all his vaccines, is on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped. He will give you hours of enjoyment as you watch him play.

Say hello to Emerson. Emerson is a 9 month old male poodle mix, a medium small dog. Emerson's first family turned Emerson over to our rescue as they did not have time to take care of him. He is a bit timid, being an only pup might be an option, or maybe a family with a laid back, easy going dog would be best. He is great for cuddling, Would love to eat treats from your fingers while watching Lassie on TV, sleep in with you and go for long midnight walks. Emerson has a great personality and is looking for you to give him his forever home. He is fully vetted, all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and neutered. Poodles and poodle mixes blend well with family, like to ride in car, and do have that "hunting" instinct lurking behind the curls. Emerson will be a dog of a life time.

Meet Gallant, our Akida mix. If you want the look of an Akita, but the sweetness of a little mutt, this is your dog. She is playful and happy and just as gentle as you will ever find. Found wondering in the middle of the road as a puppy, terrified and starving, she was brought to Recycled. Even though the Akida the breed may turn off some, but this little girl definitely deserves a chance. Though just two, she still is a "pup" and is so eager to sit in your lap though she is the "chunky" Akida body. She is crate trained, up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. She is definitely not an agressive dog, gets along well with other dogs and people, and is actually quite beautiful. She really deserves a forever home and is waiting for the right family that see how beautiful she is, inside and out.

Meet our Harley. Harley is a small and lively rat terrier mix. She is full of life and loves to play and be held. Just a bit over a year old she will do well with children and other dogs. How did the shelter get Harley? Her owners were not able to care for her any longer. She is paper trained, crate trained and willing to please. She will make you laugh. Entertaining is the word for Harley. She is looking for a forever home with lots of hugs and kisses. She is up to date on shots, wormed, on heartworm preventative, microchipped and spayed.

Meet Holly our Basset Hound. Holly was left tied to a rescuer's porch, emaciated, abused, heartworm positive, hernia and desolate. Today our Holly is a beautiful, well nourished, hernia removed, heartworm negative bundle of Basset. All signs of abuse are gone, but she will need some "trust" training. Hugs and kisses will go a long way to bringing Holly forward into her full Basset capabilities. She is good with other dogs. We don't recommend a home with children. She is up to date on all shots, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and ready for love. She is 5-7 years old, healthy, and her coat has gone from neglected to shiny. The Basset Hound is sweet, gentle, devoted, peaceful and naturally well-behaved. They fit into family life well. Their temperament should always be =friendly with never an indication of sharpness or viciousness. They are mild but not timid; very affectionate with its master and family. It is incapable of biting, but it may be a bit stubborn. They like to do tricks for food. It has a deep musical bark. reinforcement. With proper training, they are obedient, but when they pick up an interesting smell, it's sometimes hard to get their attention.

Marley is seeking a forever home. She is a beautiful young female, Australian Shepherd mix. Her owners turned her over to the shelter as they could no longer keep her. She has a delightful personality and would enjoy walks, sleeping in, watching TV and chasing squirrels. Marley is striking to see and has a very loving and pleasing personality. She is medium in size. Marley enjoys other dogs, and children. Australian Shepherd mixes are medium-sized, athletic dogs. Agile and active, they have enough stamina to work and play all day. These dogs are very affectionate, friendly and loyal to their owner. They do well with children. She is up to date on shots, wormed, on heartworm preventative, microchipped and spayed.

Say hello to Tyson. Tyson had to leave his home as one of his owners became very sick and they knew he was not able to be taken care of properly. He is a Lhasa mix, 8 years old and ready to give you a "dog of a life time" experience. He is good with other dogs, but not with small children. Crate trained and able to be house trained, he is prepared to sleep in with you, go for long walks, snuggle, and give you and your family hours of good companionship and devotion. He is experienced in giving kisses, cuddling, listening, and giving unconditional adoration. Could you ask for more? Tyson is altered, on heartworm preventative, has all vaccines, and is microchipped.
