Recycled Pets In the Process
of Upgrading the Shelter!
Thanks to the love, care and devotion of our volunteers, donors, and business partners, Recycled Pets has gone through a transformation!
- The Kitty Trailer has running water (Thanks to Stephen)!
- A retired vet donated his kennels for the Kitty Trailer as well as for our new Doggie Buildings.
- Our first building was build several months ago (Tucker's Place) and the second building (Ziggie's Place) has been completed.
- All the electrical work has been completed and buildings insulated and finished out on the inside.
We are still in the process of raising dollars to redo fencing and reorganize the dogs lots as well as plumbing to the new buildings.
It's been a long hard road but blessings and miracles and large, generous hearts and hard working volunteers made this possible. Our small dog lot and building is beginning it's rejuvenation with the old tiles being pulled up and replaced with crush. No small feat as the crush is being hand hauled up
from the lower forties. Literally.
We have more to do. Painting, cleaning, and rejuvenating our original small dog facility. We need a complete face lift there and the addition of a hot water heater and a tub to wash our pets.
First, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! Second, we are not through. Dollars and volunteer hours are really needed. Please donate and call us to volunteer. For those of you who cannot make it to the shelter, just keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
